ee Topic: My date is coming!
I'm new to posting on sites, but my date is coming this month as well. I have been working for this for almost a year. I'm insured through Kaiser and they make you take a bunch of classes prior to even getting to see the surgeon.
Unfortunately the hardest thing has been that they don't do the surgery here in the Sacramento area. I actually have had all my appointments in the San Francisco area and that is where my surgery will be also. But I'm there..... :-)

Congratulations on your date! I have mine in September also, on the 24th. I am amazed and how many people are getting dates that are really quick! I feel fortunate to have three weeks to get ready.

Congrats! I know you're on cloud nine! :-) I was denied at first as well but filed the appeal and it seems as if it took them forever to approve me - but finally did and my surgery (RNY) is tomorrow....
Can't wait to see you on the losing side!
